Andreas received his PhD for his work in polymer photophysics and applications. Following a short spell at Caltech, he spent three years as a postdoctoral scholar at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (Switzerland). Prior to joining the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ in October 2014, he was at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory investigating metabolism at the single cell level.
