Jantzen Bates is a freelance cutter/draper and costume crafts artisan currently located in Moscow. She has received her Master of Fine Arts in costume construction from the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ, and her Bachelor of Fine Arts in stage management from Missouri State University. She has worked as both a designer and associate professor at the collegiate theatre level, at regional summer stocks as a cutter/draper and at Walt Disney World as an entertainment costumer. Jantzen is currently working in collaboration with the Latah County Historical Society as a preservation and textile cataloguer for their historic textile collection.
